CAMPUS ENRICHMENT

CHAPEL& SPIRITURAL LIFE

We hold weekly chapels for our elementary students and secondary students. We are thrilled to have an on-campus chaplain join our staff this year that will be coordinating our chapel speakers and leading our students and staff in worship every week. This is one of the ways that we are living out our faith in fellowship with one another.

Our students organize weekly bible studies with their peers every year. Traditionally they have a boys study group and a girls study group before school once a week. 

​

The high school Gospels class offers a faith based mentorship series that meets twice each month second semester. This allows for the boys to meet with a male mentor and the girls to meet with a female mentor from our community.  

CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES

-STEAM CLUB: STEAM club is a program for middle school students who are interested in Science Technology Engineering Arts Music. We explore these different areas by way of project based learning. Contact Mrs. Leonhardt if you have more questions: mleonhardt@aberdeenchristianschool.com.

-MATHCOUNTS: This is a nationwide organization for middle school students aimed at getting students excited about math. We participate in local and state-wide competitions, with the opportunity to qualify for nationals. Contact Mrs. Leonhardt if you have more questions: mleonhardt@aberdeenchristianschool.com.

-STUDENT COUNCIL: Our student council is compromised of two elected representatives from grades 7-12. The student council organizes and runs various events throughout the year including fundraisers, elementary field day, homecoming week, 9-12 banquet, pep rally's and more! Elections take place in September of each year.

-Geography Bee, History Bee, Spelling Bee, Science Fair
