1st-5th grade Speech Meet

ACS Elementary Speech Meet Information

Our annual Speech Meet is being held on Tuesday, May 7th  in the Chapel. It will begin at 9:00 am. Students in grades 1 –5 will be participating in this event, in which they are required to deliver a memorized poem or speech. (We take part in the Association of Christian Schools International Speech Meet Program).

See below for our “estimated” schedule for the day. It is difficult to get exact times for this event, but hopefully this will help with your planning as we do invite all parents, grandparents, etc. to come and watch.

We are respectfully asking that you enter and exit the chapel quietly and be sure to silence your cell phones.

**Please note a revised schedule this year.**

**We will plan to stick to the schedule even if grades end early**

Grade 1 – 9:00

Grade 2 – 9:30

Grade 3 – 10:15

Grade 4 – 12:00

Grade 5 – 1:00
