IGNITING FAITH. STRENGTHENING COMMUNITY. INVESTING IN STUDENTS.

As Aberdeen Christian School celebrates 20 years of Christ-centered education, we’re excited to introduce Ignite Week, a new tradition designed to intentionally invest in the faith and community of our high school students. For students in grades 9-12th, Ignite Week will be a week of spiritual emphasis centered on worship, teaching, small-group connection, time in God’s Word, and meaningful faith-building experiences.

Why Ignite Week?

At ACS, we believe students need more than an education. They need to be known, encouraged, and surrounded by people who point them toward Christ.

Ignite Week creates intentional space for students to:

  • Deepen their faith and grow in God’s Word

  • Build meaningful relationships with peers and mentors

  • Strengthen their sense of community

  • Engage in experiences that shape and encourage their faith

  • Grow in courage, conviction, and compassion​

Our hope is that Ignite Week becomes a lasting tradition, one that gives students meaningful opportunities to encounter Christ and experience the power of Christian community.

The Retreat

Ignite Week will culminate in a retreat on October 10th-12th at Lake Geneva Christian Center in Alexandria, Minnesota. Students will step away from their normal routine for a weekend of games, fun, community building, worship, and intentional time together. It will be an opportunity to strengthen relationships and reflect on what God is doing in the lives of our students throughout the week.

Partner With Us

We want every 9-12th student to have the opportunity to participate in Ignite Week and the retreat, regardless of their family’s ability to cover the cost. Our goal is to raise $15,000 to cover the retreat expenses. Your generosity does more than help fund a retreat. It creates an opportunity for students to grow deeper in faith, build lasting relationships, and experience God working in their lives.
